What to Expect- HEALING TOGETHER
Community Acupuncture is different than many acupuncture practices. Our model works by making frequent visits affordable to patients, so that they can receive treatments often enough to make a real change to their conditions. It also recognizes the deeply personal nature of our individual health issues is best addressed in supportive community.
The clinic is a shared space with comfortable tables and recliners, where you will receive treatment at the same time as other patients. After an efficient and focused intake, we often use points located primarily on the extremities. This means you needn’t disrobe for treatment. Local treatments are also utilized, as necessary.
We accept cash, checks and credit cards, but don’t process insurance claims to keep down our administrative overhead and our prices low. There is a small administrative charge for superbills that you may submit to your insurance carrier, if appropriate.

“The acupuncturists at the Octagon clinics have been able to get rid of about 90% of my head and back pain. I couldn’t have made it through my jaw orthopedic work without them. Great care! Great people! And the Tui Na Massage rocks!”
