Dr. Heidi Bartlett, DAOM L.Ac., became interested in practicing acupuncture when it relieved her chronic sinus pain and congestion. Most recently, she experienced the power of acupuncture during chemotherapy. Today she is in remission and believes her return to health was greatly aided by acupuncture treatments.

Because of her personal experience, her practice focuses on treating common colds, congestion, allergies and chronic nasal problems, as well as all kinds of pain relating to bones, muscles, tendons and nerves. She also offers support to those who need acupuncture during or after their cancer treatment. In addition, Heidi treats patients with gynecological issues such as PMS and menopausal symptoms.

Heidi has a doctorate in acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Five Branches University in San Jose, California. She was also Chief Resident at the first Traditional Chinese Medicine Residency  with Highland and Sutter Hospitals in Oakland, California. Heidi has done internships with the First Teaching Hospital of Tianjin University in China, treated student athletes at the University of California, Berkeley, as well as low income women at the San Francisco Prenatal program. Heidi is a licensed acupuncturist, and graduated with her master's degree from the Acupuncture & Integrative Medical College in Berkeley, California.

Heidi became an acupuncturist to help other people achieve the same health and well-being that she enjoys as a result of the medicine. She feels strongly that acupuncture, herbal formulas, and diet together help people improve their health.
